HOW TO GET THERE

Route A: If you are NOT staying at Shangri-la Tanjung Aru Resort & SPA
- Take a Grab/Taxi to STAR Marina Jetty, Shangri-la Tanjung Aru Resort & SPA
- At the map provided, you will notice there is a “Tourist Entrance Gate”. There is no signboard but take a walk to the STAR Marina Jetty and you will notice our Tour Guide is waiting there.
Route B: If you are staying at Shangri-la Tanjung Aru Resort & SPA
- From your room, take a walk straight to the STAR Marina Jetty and you will notice our SSI Instructor is waiting there.

Responsibilities guidelines

In the case of schedule changes or cancellation due to traffic, weather or other force majeure, Travel Operator have the right to alter routes, timetables, itineraries and accommodation reserved should conditions beyond our control render it necessary.
Patients of following diseases are not recommended to participate the adventure tour: hypertension, heart disease, asthma, epilepsy, pregnant woman
Sit-In-Coach basis(SIC) means this tour is not a private tour, you will share trip with other travelers who come from different countries.
Travel Operator will not be held responsible, or in any way liable, for property losses, personal losses, accidents, injury, or death for any reason whatsoever, whether through any activities booked through us, or caused to you by third parties.
Request Private Charter 6 – 10 Seater Vehicle, additional MYR300.00/vehicle. Kindly inform us before the tour commences.
Please do not bring valuables as there are no lockers on the islands.
Be a responsible snorkeler / diver to protect our marine ecosystem.
If we deem your diving / snorkeling skills or attitude may bring harm to marine life or other guests, the crew has the right to stop you from participating in this activity.
It is strictly prohibited to remove, pick up, step on, or destroy any marine life during the trip.
Do not snorkel or dive separately from the group and follow the crew’s instructions. Failure to do so will result in the crew stopping you from participating in the activity and no refunds will be made.
Participants refrain from touching and teasing turtles, marine life and coral reefs. Anyone refraining will sit out the next snorkeling.
While the jellyfish season varies, it usually occurs during mid of the year or/and end of the year. Do be extra careful and inform our guides should you be stung. Jelly bugs are common in the waters but they are usually harmless and their stings will just cause some slight itch.
Customers are encouraged to purchase their own travel insurance before traveling to Borneo. We recommend you to select a travel insurance policy that covers not only your medical expenses (including emergency repatriation) but also personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage. Doing so can prevent major disruptions and additional costs. We strongly encourage our customers to choose packages wisely, prioritize your safety first as life is priceless.

Cancellation & Amendment Policies

Free cancellation 7 days before the tour commence.
Less than 7 days or no show, full 100% charges.
Any cancellation within 24 hours from the tour date is regarded as "Last Minute Cancellation" or "No Show" will be 100% chargeable.
Amendment to booking after payment has been made is subject to approval and will be charge at a minimum of MYR150 per service amendment.
